Walk & Talk Therapy

During walking sessions, you'll have therapy conversations over the phone or in person while walking outdoors. You can book sessions, sometimes with a GP referral, and choose a comfortable location. On the day, wear suitable clothing and bring water. The session lasts for a set time, focusing on your goals and well-being, with safety measures in place for outdoor sessions.

What is Telehealth Therapy

Telehealth therapy has all the benefits of face-toface therapy without the need to travel to see your psychologist. This. means you can receive hassle-free therapy through secure Google Meet sessions, telephone sessions or messages no matter where you are in Australia.

Arrange sessions that work around your schedule, take your sessions in a familiar place, and work with that psychologist that is client focussed, no matter where you are in Australia

What is Telephone Therapy

Telephone-based therapy sessions are conducted entirely over the phone, with no video involved. This approach is ideal for clients who prefer not to use video, who feel more comfortable communicating over the phone, or who may not have access to reliable internet for video calls.

How do the different therapy session work?

SherryB has made accessing therapy to suit your needs as easy as possible. To have your session, you can elect to have Face-to-face, Telehealth, or phone session. 

SherryB will email your Google meets link which you can access on your phone, tablet or laptop - or any device with a camera and microphone.

There are options to turn the video camera off so you can turn the session into an audio call if you choose to.

You can send messages to SherryB during the call using the chat function. You are in control of how you want your therapy sessions to be conducted and when you want to schedule them.

Are the face-to-face, Telehealth & Phone sessions safe & secure?

Confidential and discrete sessions are vital for your therapy. Sherrin Bell is fully qualified and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (AHPRA). Psychologists are ethically bound to keep their sessions confidential, and gives clients peace of mind to talk freely.

Google Meets is end-to-end encrypted, so only you and your psychologist have access to the session, and this information is not stored. No third parties can access data from the session.

How do I know if SherryB is the right fit for me?

You will know you have found the right psychologist when you are able to speak freely and open up in your therapy sessions. They should make you feel heard, have experience working in your area of concerns, and most importantly help you to see improvements as your sessions progress over time.
